| | Posted: | | | | I'm 62 and grew up in a small town at a time when you could leave your doors unlocked and let your kids roam where they will. I can remember at age 8, walking to the YMCA on Saturday mornings and going to the movies after that for 25 cents. Back then, you could stay in the theater all day for one price and watch the movie until they closed if you wanted. We got our first TV in 1953 when I was 5 and I have always watched a lot of movies other than maybe when I was a teenager and discovered girls. So, if I watched an average of 2 to 3 movies a week...probably more, but I'm being conservative. I have numerous European friends who become delightedly amazed at the quality of microbreweries' beers made in many places in the USA... just as most beer lovers enjoy not just their favorites, but the joys of previously unsampled brews. This is like the New York vs. Chicago pizza arguments... and just as boring. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

About 600 films on VHS (discarded now), 300 on LD and (OMG!) 4000+ on DVD and Blu-ray. Add to that about half a century of movie-going (and I went a lot when I was young) and that adds up to - a whole lot! Well, if thruth be told, I have a rather sizeable number on unwatched discs, but still  | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users.
