Comic Books (almost exclusively modern, mostly Top Cow, Aspen MLT, DC & bad girl comics)
Movies on DVD & Blu-ray
Music on CD
Cthulhu plush
Neon Genesis Evangelion figurines
Rocks

I used to collect Beanie Babies, Fire King, Sailor Moon merchandise, My Little Ponies, Breyer model horses, Avon bottles, action figures, and metal lunchboxes.  I got rid of almost all of the Fire King and the Avon bottles, and some of the lunchboxes.  I still have all the rest of those, I'm just not adding to them anymore.
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

STD's

I want my clap back!

In seriousness:
Comic Books (have ceased but have a ton)
Action Figures (slowed way down, more picky now)

Same here.

My peak period was during the 1990's. And then stopped for many years until the latest Star Trek film came out.

I was shocked at how high the prices have gone up on these. Almost $10 for a small 5" action figure. Wow!

As I get older I've found the numbers of things I collect grows too.

• DVDs
• Vinyl records
• Hardcover books
• Candles
• Antique furniture
• Daguerreotype photographs
• Mirrors
• Hippos (I've downsized on these to a few dozen special ones. I had hundreds and hundreds before)
• Machetes
• Stamps
• Coins
• Sports memorabilia

My mom always tells me I collect pets too! I disagree since I only have 13 cats and a new puppy.

Its not my fault!

My great grandpa gave me my first one. It is an antique whose handle is the head of a dog and eyes made from two small rubies.

It is the one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I've been on the lookout for other neat ones ever since.
