Literally or metaphorically?

One requires a doctor, the other a physiologist.

Glad to hear you're ok!

As for me, I stepped waaaay the hell out of my comfort zone and let someone talk me into this: Frontiers

It was fun, but I really felt like a fish out of water having never done anything like it before.

Maybe you have never had one. If not, I won't spoil the fun. (Hint: the answer involves Dulcolax, magnesium citrate, 8-12 glasses of swill, no food and a whole day of ....)

(Oh, and no aspirin, no alcohol and no sex for 7 days prior  )
Thanks for your support.

Spent the weekend watching the storm and preping for a Colonoscopy - which now by comparison seems like child's play.

Glad you had the presence of mind and other factors that contributed to your survival. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Is there any way mentally to prepare for colonoscopy.

I don't think he meant "mentally".  If you've ever been through this procedure, you know EXACTLY what he's talking about!!!!!

The prep is worse than the actual procedure, which you are "out" for!

Glad you're doing OK SREHTIMS.

I spent the weekend watching Earth: Final Conflict: Season 1.

Im sure i will have one if i reach the grand old age of 50. If the depression that has been crippling me since 5 don't get me first.

Spent the weekend celebrating my wedding anniversary;  pink champagne, great meal out, excahnging pressies (gained a few new DVDs and Blu-Rays ) and finishing off watching the end of Desperate Housewives season 6 with my wife...

... oh, and taking one of the cats to the emergency vet after he cut his carpal pad, keeping him in and the bandage on whilst the other two cats worried about what we were doing and if they were next into the cat basket and hoping the damage done after the bandage was off was not too bad and the vet today won't say he has to stay in again...

went to bed at about 22:00 and listened to Deutschlandradio Kultur til I fell asleep.

Which was about 3.5 seconds later, I guess.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Thanks - cat went to check-up last night and vet said all was good and it was healing properly; no need for further action (and didn't even charge for the consult!)
