Hello.  Thank you all for the kind comments and thoughts; I really am genuinely touched by your words.

Penny knew the sound of my DVD player’s draw opening; she would hear it and then watch me intently, waiting for me to sit down before trampling all over me even before I’d got comfy, (the latter of which would then give her the opportunity to look aggrieved as I tried to adjust how I was sitting without tipping her off me again).  She never seemed to learn the sound the Blu-ray player makes though.  I’d love to be able to remember all the films she enjoyed watching the most, but I can’t recall them right now.  It’s a shame there isn't a special tick box somewhere in Profiler for this.

I'm not sure if I'll get another cat or not yet.  I may do, in time.

A cute little song about a cat.

Do you ever find yourself striving for perfection with an almost worthless attempt at it?  Guttermouth "Lemon Water".  Also, I include in my Profiler database VHS tapes, audio DVDs, audio books (digital, cassette and CD), video games (digital, DVD and CD) and 'enhanced' CDs with video tracks on them, as well as films and TV I've bought digitally.  So I'm an anarchist, deal with it.  Just be thankful I don't include most of my records and CDs etc in it too; don't think I haven't been tempted...

Sounds like she passed in the place she loved to be the most.

Oh but there is.. .. under Tools/ users  you type in a friend (or a cat's name)  and when you finished watching a dvd you can right click on said title and go to 'watched' .. tick the name and apply the date .. you'd be surprised years later when you go to check the history of a title  it will be there ...
