| Posted: | | | | LPs only retained value because they are better than CDs in some ways. DVDs are headed for the $.79 rack at Goodwill unless they are movies that stayed out of print. Those are already valuable. The format doesn't factor in much. |

| Posted: | | | | Doesn't really matter about the lifespan of the media itself, it matters on how long new media will be manufactured.
Once they stop producing DVD's and Blu-Rays, it'll signal the start of the end but the end will still be far, far away. |
