| Posted: | | | | My SG-1 came today, I visually inspected each disc and no damage.
Hard to believe the show has been off for 5 years now.
I have not seen the older episodes for years, so it is time for a "Stargate-a-thon"
My wife has been in the hospital so this will keep me out of trouble when I am not working and there visiting her |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks to that dear, sweet friend I mentioned yesterday I got mine today too! Both Series! I haven't had the chance to check the discs yet... but I am about to. Question to the Stargate Fans:This is the first time I will be watching these series. I have seen season 1 of Stargate SG-1 (And the original Stargate movie) before... but nothing else. So... is Stargate Atlantis a standalone series that I can choose to start watching any time? Or do I want to be sure to finish SG-1 before starting Alantis? | | | Pete |

Stargate Atlantis season 1 runs at the same time SG-1 season 8 is going on. if you don't want to watch them together I would watch Atlantis after SG-1. |

Says it takes over where the SG-1 series left off. Yes, and there is another SG-1 movie too. Stargate: Continuum | | | Signature banned: Reason out of date... |

Says it takes over where the SG-1 series left off. But "The Ark of Truth" is very important. It puts a cap on the ending storyline for the last season of the series. |

That it was given to me also... a while back ago? Yes that is what I gathered, I was just pointing it's importance...and kind of implying that it really isn't a stand alone movie. Continuum is more stand alone, but still better watched after the series. |

And by the way Pete, I am glad you ended up wih these. You will enjoy them. This is a price that couldn't be passed up for someone that collects TV Series like you do. Have fun watching them, my guess from looking at your collection is that you will like it. | | | Last edited: by Scooter1836 |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks! I am really looking forward to them. I am currently watching a few different series at the same time (switching series between discs watched). I am going to have to put SG-1 into the rotation. | | | Pete |

I have this set for more than two years now. I think the packaging is not the best but it's not awful by any means | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online
