| Posted: | | | | btw, not sure what is more hilarious for us Brits: playing Benny Hill theme during beach volleyball timeouts or Under Pressure by Queen during handball penalties. |

Wasnt it Ryan Lochte(the american?) that won the gold medal in the swimming pool? And Michael Phelps on the 4th? | | | Last edited: by Piffi |

Wasnt it Ryan Lochte(the american?) that won the gold medal in the swimming pool? And Michael Phelps on the 4th? That also happened. There have been 4 medal events tonight in swimming. |

| Posted: | | | | I hope so! Whilst I hope GB does well and beats the haul from Beijing, I don't mind watching us get beat massively if the other athletes are smashing records. The 100m sprint is going to be awesome.
I'm also happy to see GB putting in teams for events we don't really play in this country like handball (seriously... wtf?) because it shows national progress in those sports. |

| Posted: | | | | Hehe, and i hope Norway does well! There is alot of interesting stuff to follow this time around. The 100m spring will be awesome yes, gotta agree. And i see that team GB does well in the women football so far. Two victories so far, of two possible. =) And when it comes to handball! I enjoy womens handball a great deal! Norway is one of the favourites to win the whole thing. (Fingers crossed) |

(Fingers crossed) I watched about 3/4ths of this and then got interrupted. I have to admit, this was not what I thought it was! Very interesting sport. I don't know that I would want to play myself--even for fun. Way too violent! I have Directv so I can watch live online which I've been doing--I'm a night owl so it works out. They have 3 or 4 channels depending on the time during the day with it on but I get frustrated when they don't just focus on one thing and jump around so you miss things. | | | Lori |

Watched 15 hours worth yesterday. Love the BBC's coverage. I had 12 channels on the go at one point yesterday and I love the fact you can see every single part of every single event in HD, live! Just got up, and time to get engrossed again! |
