I got it to work once (but with a lot of missing thumbnails and titles. Rebuilt the database, deleted the thumbnails and it seemed to repopulate the folder, which is just as well as I can't see the "Rebuild thumbnails" option).

Now though, I've gone to rerun it and clicking on the "Load XML" button doesn't anything. I've resaved an XML file the same way and browsed to the foler, but nothing, even though it worked OK before. Any ideas?

Reinstalled and it's now working, but I've still got half the thumbnails missing. I've st it to "View as thumbnails" but I can't see the "Rebuild thumbnails" option. I don't have anything under "Thumbnail settings", well only "collection hint options". What am I doing wrong? Mine seems to have a different layout on the menus although I'm on the current build.

Well, it's working at the mo...

(Found "Rebuild thumbnails" by editing the toolbar, ie. right click a thumbnail/customise this menu/view/rebuild thumbnails)

Thanks for the heads up on here to add the rebuild.

For some reason no matter what I am only getting 680 some odd thumb nails when I have a bit over 1600 in my collections so I would expect to see 3200 ish images in the thumbnails folder.

1600 ... the rear cover are not transfered. If you look closely the "f" or "b" in the filename is missing.

Did you delete all the thumbnails first like in marcelb7's post on the first page?

On the device in settings.

And it should always be the PC's IP that the program gives you.

Some ideas for the next beta are:
- Sort order: normal, alphabetical, by date of purchase...

Sounds nice.
Quote:
- Google Play integration: easier updates for installed devices.

Sounds excellent! I think this would lower the inhibition threshold for installing MyLoD for a lot of people.

Three things i have:
- Don't, under any circumstances, change the fact that you use the XML-export! This gives me the opportunity to mess around with the data, e.g. to make the Location visible. If anyone is interested: Mithi's MSXSL.EXE help
Edit: another thing: I assign my unwatched titles to a Collection called "Unwatched" on which you can filter.

- The need to exit DVD Profiler somewhat bugs me. Why exactly is this necessary?

- I want big covers!  Could you implement those, as a option if some people don't want those because of disc-space.

Mithi - I think its is because the MyLoD is accessing the DB and some DB's dont like having 2 things open or accessing the DB at the same time.

If its built into the DVDP pliugin, it is seen as part of DVDP's access to it.

just a WAG on my part.

I am still trying to figure out why I am not getting a complete Thumbnails rebuild :/

I got adventurous and added cast/crew in to the export. That was OK, but when I add Overview, I get "Error processing XML file: hexadecimal value 0x1A, is an invalid character. Line 336442, position 36."

Looks similar to Pelikan's comment on page 1. Anyone else got overview to work, or is it case of one step at a time. Other than this, it's working fine for me. Thanks.

My guess: One of your Overviews contains a "funny" character. Could you load the XML in an editor and look for line 336442?

I had the overview from day one, I always do the export with all data-fields.

Thanks. Spot-on. Trying to open it in Word told me the text. Apparently a R2 Superman dvd has arrows in the overview which after swapping to hyphens, works fine.
