Quote: I can honestly say I have been very lucky with Amazon, never having an issue with them directly. However, their delivery service through OnTrack has be disastrous.
I have had no problem with OnTrack, Sometime I've had the product before the email saying it has shipped.
I did have problems with Smartpost
UPS has always been flawless for me. FedEx has always delivered as promised. I have had them leave $200.00 worth of DVD's on my back porch and then refused to deliver coffee without a signature but they have always delivered. I have had Ontrack deliver packages 2 days after they claimed they did. I have had them deliver items to a different city and then claim they couldn't get into my gated community (I don't live in a gated community). I live in AZ so the distribution center is in Phoenix, I too have ordered something in the afternoon and received it the next day. I love Amazon and I am happy with my Prime Membership. I am a prime member of Amazon, so I get orders shipped as they become available, and if I buy DVD it has to be backed by Amazon. Amazon has four shipping centers here, I think. Just the Friday 3th, afternoon I ordered a DVD and got it before noon on the 4th, less than 12 hours. I had a set of DVDs form Visual Entertainment stuck in US Customs, emailed them and it was cleared the next day. A US Customs, a government agency you just know by definition they could not do any wrong.
I always check the tracking reference, during the Christmas madness, we had a lot crooks following the UPS/FEDX trucks and stealing packages lefted at the front door. |
