If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

or no , that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to add another star
By using the green arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of red dissaproval,

With apologies to William Shakespeare (Shakespere/Shakespear/Shakspeare/etc etc etc)
Signature? We don't need no stinking... hang on, this has been done... blast [oooh now in Widescreen]
Ah... well you see.... I thought I'd say something more interesting... but cannot think of anything..... oh well

I get the confusion. Please do not think I'm begging for any arrows at all.

The segregated black kitty looks sad; the basketed/towelled grey kitties look comfortable. Add the "apartheid" label and it becomes a liitle humorous. But what of aparthied is there to laugh at? Nothing.

So the circular surrealism of the "motivational" poster style of presentation, mixed with the funny/unfunny caption makes the gestalt of the lolcat wry and odd and amusing to me. I can cry about apartheid and smile at the kitty cuteness at the same time. I can laugh, catch myself before I laugh, feel uncomfortable about the paradox and finally find a small bit of uplift in spirit having realized these mixed emotions at the same time. (Is the unexamined life worth living? I dunno, but it's more fun with cute kittens.)

This lolcat may not approach literature, but is as paradoxically interesting as the sentence "This sentence is false." but adds a 20th century morality question upon the paradox.

Thus, I decided to share my mindset when I viewed this jpeg in the Fark Caturday thread today. I found it interesting, and hoped others would, too.
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

I don't know what's worse - someone who psychoanalyzes a lolcat macro or ... no, I can't think of something worse than that.

Oh yes, please - let's keep this lolcat place as an island of happiness! Maybe a place to forget all those arrow things...
