Iran Warns Netherlands Not to Air Controversial 'Anti-Muslim' Film

Homeland Security and FBI raises Geert Wilders concerns.
If Wilders is doing a social experiment on how scared the West, I would say it is a complete success.

Well it is not the 85,000 Muslims I am `afraid` off. It is a few rotten ones that will take up anything to start a riot.

Most Muslims in The Netherlands know this guy and won't take him very seriously.

Now I'm really confused.  In the US 85,000 means 85 thousand, but I thought that in Europe it meant 85.

I'm always confused by the different use of punctuation for zero separators and decimal points on our side and your side of the pond.

Europe consist of several countries - of which some use "." as decimal separator others use ",".

As far as I know English-language countries (including UK and Ireland) would use 85,000 for 85 thousand and other European countries would write 85.000 for 85 thousand.

And it's a common mistake for non-native English speakers to use the latter when they mean the first...

No comma here! We use the dot for decimals here. So it is 85'000.00 !
Now you can find out where here is.

EDIT: Yes, it is an European country.
EDIT2: In handwriting we see a lot of commas though.
