But the last links for the 1960 Higgins don't include a birthyear either. Just some way to make an estimate. "Complete" posts in this thread is however how it should be. I have tied some knots together myself here, because of posts that haven't been concluded properly. And it's not only about BY's on DVDProfiler either, even if this is the thread about it. I mean that documentation is sometimes never fully done or it "disappears". At least with simple searches. In short: documentation should be more readily available.  |

Another question: Where do you find his BY 1960?
The imdb has no BY.
The other site says that he was 20 in 1979. I think he determined it because this site said he was 51 in Feb of 2011 (first paragraph) http://www.sanluisobispo.com/2011/02/02/1467767/michael-higgins-makes-the-leap.html The problem I see with that is depending on the month he was born he could have been born a year earlier. If he was born in February 3 to December of 1959 then on February, 2 of 2011 he is 51. I have made that point several times, but people still want to contribute like this. Plus who knows the article may have been actually written before it was posted. But you bring up a good point because the article also says he was 20 in 1979. So it might just be his BY is 1959. Personally I don't see the point in putting in a BY unless we know absolutely it is correct. It keeps us form having to call one invalid if we wait until it is conclusive. People already have to deal with having fake BY's because of ones with no BY anyway, it's not something new. There is another Richard Taylor (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0853053/) computer effects supervisor and visual effects supervisor in TRON (1982), but I searched for his BY without any luck. There is an accepted BY 1944 in database for Richard Taylor. It came into my local data with the Box Set "Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery" where this guy has been entered as Supervising Sound Editor.
