You might try to move these pictures before doing anything else. IIRC they affect all collections not only the current one.

Thanks very much for your help.  However, I didn't read your above post until I already fixed it.  To answer your question, my credit photos folder was empty.

Here's what I did to fix it:

First made a backup of my database.
Then went to my Documents folder and deleted the entire contents of the DVD Pro folder.
Opened DVD Pro and and chose the option to restore the CAST database and it worked!
Then I restored my own database and selected the option to overwrite all cast images if already present (there are several pics I've changed and wanted to keep from my own backup).

Now I'm running a repair and removing my unused cast/crew pics to reduce the size.

I like to update this stuff once maybe twice a year.

Glad it's working now but deleting the unused pics IMHO only makes sense if you don't plan to add more DVD to your collection (or of course if you're really short on disc space).

Thanks for the advise.  I have two 250gb hard drives I used when I built my pc.  Windows and all programs run from C: while all media is stored on M:  That's actually why I re-import the cast file about twice a year: to hopefully add what's missing from the movies I added.  Then I'll remove what I don't use.  Looking back I should have got a bigger drive but in 2008 I thought it was good...

I'm very sorry for your trouble then. Have you looked for Barbara Hershey / /? Was she in? Found a bunch more with the whole name in the first name field but I wouldn't bother you if they must be from somewhere else, too.
