1930 is already accepted but a search found no post in here so just providing documentation. Also found a BY for another John Wood but I do not own anything with him in so no idea if he has already been submitted or not.

I'd vote to keep the BY for the first one to be documented. In this case the bass player. Everything else increases the mess.

That's no problem, actually, as the bass player's common name *isn't* John Edwards - it's John 'Rhino' Edwards (CLT: 3 titles as John Edwards, 4 titles as John 'Rhino' Edwards). So "John Edwards (1953)" can solely refer to the Australian TV producer / writer.
