This then means that if I import from HMDB, the three variants of Rebecca Romijn that I just removed will return. Should we be tracking incorrect "common names" to strip out of the HMDB, or have I got it all wrong? If they are bad entries, give me the ones in question and I'll remove them. |

| Posted: | | | | I don't know what the third variation was that I removed locally.
Common name: "Rebecca Romijn-Stamos" 78 titles (438 profiles)
Therefore the following can be removed from HMDB (and "credited as" in people's databases) "Rebecca Romijn Stamos" 10 titles (37 profiles) "Rebecca Romijn" 49 titles (167 profiles) | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |

| Posted: | | | | Ah, I can't remove them them as it would remove the photo from a profile that hasn't been updated for the common name. In essence, they aren't bad entries.
But this has gotten my mind tinkering, I wonder if I can create a ColdFusion script that'll run the names through the CLT to see if any return in zero hits and I can remove those. Wondering if it's really worth it in the grand scheme of things. I would need to meter the checks to prevent overloading the site and would need Ken's permission too. |

A lot of people are using names different from the CLT because of it's flaws. Or they use different common names for Asian names. etc etc. Those people would suffer if you automatically erase headshots from alternative good common names ( ). Just leave them in, if someone wants to remove them it's dead-easy with the database repair. | | | - Jan |

| Posted: | | | | Yup, but that's the one drawback to compacting your database to get rid of unused cast & crew with headshots, you have to re-import the HMDB database to get them or jump through hoops to have one or two databases just for the headshots and creating dummy profiles to preserve the headshots you want to import into your main collection. |

| Posted: | | | | Hey guys. First off, thanks for all your hard work. Second, I just had to get a new computer, and decided instead of loading my old collection back in, I would start again. I just downloaded this file, but can't figure out how to use it. The only instructions I found was how to add updates to the existing scans, but I can't figure out how to add the existing file to my collection. Am I missing something?
Edit: I tried opening the file under "restore database", but it wouldn't work. An error message came up. | | | Last edited: by benh911f |

Is it possible your downloaded file got corrupted. Maybe clear your internet browser's cache, and re-download it. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

Maybe I'm still doing something wrong. Open DVD Profiler Click File | Restore Database Browse to where you downloaded and select the Headshot DB (file should have a DPB extension) Click Next Click Restore Cast & Crew Databases Set "Existing Photos" to "Let me compare" Decide which images you want to keep. To speed up the process, you can press "A" to accept the new image, or "K" to keep the existing image. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | I did the exact same thing as I did last night, but for some reason it worked this time! Maybe I needed to restart my computer. Anyway, thanks cvermeylen and Dr. Killpatient for your help, and for the hard work making this! |
