| Posted: | | | | Dunno exactly the number of discs; Profiler tells me around 1.300. I have many Box-Sets containing up to 6-7 DVD's and that counts as #1 in my collection. Maybe Profiler can tell me the actual number of all disks in a later release.. 10.000+ is a very desirable target, even if i dont't know where to store | | | Thorsten |

| Posted: | | | | Closing in on 1400 at this point (1,396), but due to limited space only about 300 of the cases are displayed on a shelf at any one point. The display case is reserved for Criterian, Box sets and special editions mostly. |

| Posted: | | | | I have 1500 DVDs if a box set = 1. (There are a couple dozen homemade DVDs of my daughter figure skating in competitions I have yet to enter in DVDP.) More than 2000 if I include children within those box sets. I ran out of storage space around the 1000 mark. I now add 1/3 or more of my collection stacked sideways on top of the double stacked shelves, and the presound era DVDs in a drawer of my CanAm CD storage units. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

O.o Thanks Ken. I wasn't really questioning the 10,000 part (though that does qualify the owner for a special place in the ward) ...... just the " on shelves at home" part. I know how much shelve space my lowly collection of less than a thousand takes up .....multiply that by 15 or so and that is a lot of frick'n shelves |

| Posted: | | | | I have a DJ box with 530 DVD's and like another 17 dvd's on a book shelf. Really I only have 414 movies according to DVD profile. Then again it counts TV series seasons as 1 disc where I have some seasons with 7 disc. Homicide Life on the streets they have like 7 disc some seasons | | | Last edited: by Randall_Lind |

| Posted: | | | | Well, I am not part of the 1K or 10K clubs. I do however have 782 DVD's. This doesn't include box sets or TV series. I have to agree with some of the other posts. When you have 6000 movies when do you find time to watch every one of them. I also am trying to find furniture that I can tore my DVD's in. The largest cabinet I have found with door, which is a must for me holds 650. |
