Hillary has a mind? Not that I have been able to find, and I have known her for a number of years now. She has a penchant for reconstructing history and inflating her own self-image and resume.

You know Hillary Clinton? Unfortunately, I do. And her huusband. I've known every occupant of the WH since 1986, including the current First Family. I've said before richie, that inmy current life, politics IS my life, I know lots of the denizens of the US Capital. Some good, some bad, some better than I want to know them. Ahh, such is life. | Posted: | | | | John Edwards Hillary Clinton Barack Obama Rudy Giuliani Mike Huckabee Mitt Romney Fred Thompson John McCain Don't really know the last four on the list (as in "never heard of them"), but then again, I'm not American... Even if I was, I probably wouldn't vote for Edwards anyway. There's something about him I don't like, but I can't really say what it is. The best word that comes to mind to describe him is "sleazy," but again, I can't explain it... If I could, I would probably vote for Hillary. It would be her third term then, I know (while I liked Bill, I doubt he ever really made any important decisions without consulting her - she seems to be the brainy one in that marriage), but at least it gives her something the other candidates lack, which is experience... And yes, I know it is a contradiction in terms to use the word "brainy" in a sentence about presidential candidates. As David Brin once said: It is said that power corrupts, but actually it's more true that power attracts the corruptible. The sane are usually attracted by other things than power. My guess is that they're attracted to DVD's! | | | The future is here. It's just not widely distributed yet. (William Gibson) | | | Last edited: by Rander |

Don't really know the last four on the list (as in "never heard of them"), but then again, I'm not American... You own 'Die Hard 2' so you have heard of Fred Thompson (credited as 'Fred Dalton Thompson')...you haven't put the name with the face. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. It's probably because John Edwards is a personal injury/product liability lawyer who made a fortune arguing cases often based on questionable science. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? Socialism has been proven to not be a viable system of government, everywhere it has been tried, it is NOT the job of Government to take care of its citizens, protect them ...yes, but not to take care of them. I think Education, Health Care, Food and Shelter are basic needs that government should supply if the citizen is unable. I think the Socialism you say has "been proven not to be viable system", is what we fought against in our wars. I dont think our system has yet to be proven to not be a viable system. |
