What about Bollywood movies? My wife and daughter love them, especially those with SRK as leading actor.

While I've read a few articles about Bollywood, there have been few recommendations for films to introduce them to a western audience. Could you elaborate on which films are the most fun to watch?
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

I'd go for the first Hellraiser movie. Seriously.

For a romantic story line I prefer Braindead (a.k.a. Dead Alive)
Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan.

Well, I ought to ask my ladies for this

But I remember a few examples from my collection they really enjoyed:

- Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
- Sometimes Happy, Sometimes Sad
- Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna
- Indian Love Story - Kal Ho Naa Ho
- Veer & Zaara

...and a few more. Mostly appreciated (concening quality) are the (German) releases from Rapid Eye Movies.

You may like or dislike Bollywood movies, but they all (more or less) have something in common (IMHO) :

- beautiful people
- beautiful landscapes
- a lot of music and dance
- a blaze of color
- a rather long running time
