The reactions I've been getting have been falling in the "love it or hate it" category.  Unfortunately, I feel myself getting Phantom Menace flashbacks where its really just the fanboys propping it up.

I saw it yesterday. I liked it a lot as being part of the Indy franchise. Sure it has flaws and sure it has no big surprises (something my friend pointed out), but it's as much an Indy flick as the other three and is fun just the same.

Darxon, I wonder what exactly threw you off and what made you not enjoy it. If it could spoil things for others, maybe you can PM me, I am curious about that...

Answered "Not interested or care at all...". Nothing specifically negative to say about them, but just not my type of movies. I have seen the "original " three, but won't be bothered with this new one.

I went to see it yesterday at the theater.  Awesome movie.  Would pay to see it again.  Totally exciting film.  Definitely will buy it when it comes out.

I will see it next week.  I want to register a "core experience" of seeing it in theaters to enchance my enjoyment of the DVD down the line.

Darxon replied to me with a rather detailed list. I can confirm that posting it here would be too much of a spoiler...

During opening weekend I was in Wien with my girlfriend, on thursday we wanted to see Indy 4 but was too busy. On saturday we tried again and saw it.

No subtitles here by the way and in English... otherwise I wouldn't've gone

Anyways is there a topic discussing Indy 4?

I will see it this Friday at the movies. Even though I live in Austria I will definitely go and see it in English. Luckily we have enough English Movie Theaters.

@Stephan could you please PM me those locations. I have no idea which Bundesland you are living in, but mostly I am near Grieskirchen/Wels.

Thanks in advance!

I saw it today. It's strange, including me and my girlfriend there were only 5 people in the theatre watching the movie. Actually I was watching it at 4:30 pm but still.
Well anyway it was a great movie. A lot better than expected!

I saw it last week at the movies. I can honestly say that never in my life I have left a cinema so utterly disappointed. Just like most movie fans I really love the first three Indy films but this one was pure crap. I had seen the third part at the movies in 1989 - 19 years of waiting  for such a stinker, I can hardly believe it.
