If you don't give a damn about privacy and are willing to have all of your personal data made public and to have your email addresses sold to marketing companies, then by all means, enjoy. I agree with that. I would like to see laws passed that require organizations to inform individuals of their data that has been collected. Example my dog has diabetes and after I got first insulin prescription filled for her, I started getting diabetes spam online and in the mail. The prescription was clearly ordered by a vet for a dog. Just when I applied for social security I started getting ads for all kinds of things that might be relative to elderly people. No telling what misinformation exists on each and every one of us in all the data bases that are shared and passed between them. What bothers me is people assume all they read is gospel. My 'default' home page for Chrome is www.Invleos.com..,,, ..I have a series of tabs across the top in which you can pick and choose what order you want the 'pages' to appear from the left to the right side of the opening page.. I have not seen any default for Chrome itself.. I tried iniatlly to set http://news.google.ca/nwshp?hl=en&tab=wn as the defualt page but it came up second tab across, and the whole page was in text, top to bottom left to right all Text ..,, no artwork no links ... One itme I don't have that I miss is my spellcheck.. Plus if I hover my mouse over the emoticons to the right, there is no drop down name.. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. KM Ditto. Opera is my main browser (though I have FF, IE8b, and Chrome as well). About the only thing I don't like is it doesn't seem del.ici.ous-friendly. I'd say it's my favorite software, but I'm really hoping Ken gets us that new update soon | | | Last edited: by IronWaffle |

| Posted: | | | | I'm not sure whether or not I'm wiling to trust Google with personal data. My problem is with the arrogance that the people at Google display when they claim they are ENTITLED to any data posted using their browser. What gives them the right to lay claim to someone's intellectual property merely because he/she chooses to transmit it using Google? I'm sorry, but it seems to me that this would be a clear violation of an individual's rights to his ideas. I don't plan to relinquish the rights to my own words (images, etc.) any time soon. Maybe what I say isn't very important, but NO ONE is entitled to it (at least to make financial use of it) but myself. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges.
