I guess those watching this on a large screen and see distracting halos and lack of high deifinition detail must not be "normal"   then.

I guess you missed the first sentence in my post.  Otherwise, it should have been obvious, that I was referring to the people who watch frame by frame looking for defects.  Had it not been pointed out, I doubt very seriously that anybody would have noticed the missing arrows.  Heck, I new they were missing and still didn't notice.

I think we got the message the first time. Paramount need not worry.

Do you have some kind of vested interest in this that we don't know about?  Your attitude seems just a tad extreme.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

I guess if you watch a film frame by frame, you will hate this transfer.  I, on the other hand, watch films like a normal person, and didn't have a problem.  I knew that there were supposed to be missing arrows in the first battle secene but, there sure seemed to be a lot of arrows flying accross the the field of battle.  If they were missing, I couldn't tell.

As for the rest of the film...nothing mentioned in any of the reviews, that were supposed to be 'distracting', distracted me.  Was it the best HD transfer I have ever seen?  No, but it wasn't the worst either.  At $18, it was well worth the price of admission.

My sentiments exactly!!!  Clearly is not the best Blu-Ray I have ever seen, but it looked great to me and I watched mine on a 61" Samsung!!!
My Collection!!!
