The random number generator spit out #17.
So the winner in the random draw of a free DVD is...
Mark Harrison!

cheers Donnie Maybe. It IMHO it requires a bit of a competition rule (this one was about taking it to a deserted island, guilty pleasures and all), because many shows have multiple seasons. Would it be "The Simpsons" or would a vote be split because everyone has his/hers favourite season? etc. etc. | | | Eric

One, because I think it's disrespectful to the filmmakers. No one sets out to make a bad movie, and while poor reviews comes with the territory, I don't see the point in further throwing stones by creating lists like that. And two, because the really bad stuff generally don't reach the mainstream, and so such lists usually get filled with movies that are not at all deserving - simply because those doing the nominations haven't even heard of stuff like Not Only a Killer and other movies of its ilk. I mean, as bad as Battlefield Earth was, it's high art compared to a lot of stuff out there. KM | | | Tags, tags, bo bags, banana fana fo fags, mi my mo mags, TAGS! Dolly's not alone. KM Fair enough, but taste is still in the eye of the beholder. So if someone thinks Battlefield Earth is crap their opinion should weigh as much as the opinion of someone who thinks it is great - IMHO. And you could say the same of a "Best of" list - it is highly subjective. For instance, I think 2001 is one of the worst movies ever made, but it still made the top 25 list... | | | Berak

| Posted: | | | | Though I never got around to submitting MY top 25, I like the fact that I already own 24 of the 25 that made the list. The only one I don't have (yet) is 12 Angry Men |

It's good to see some classics make the list. you need to run (not walk) to get spirited Away and for the Kill Bill vol 1 - the best DVD version is the japanese version (which gives all colour through the film). For Blu ray there is just the US version | | | Paul |
