| Posted: | | | | My prayers are with you and your family.
I am learning what my parents always told me that time can be very cruel. Just keep you head up and keep smiling.
Again sorry for your loss my friend. |

| Posted: | | | | Sheesh. What Skip has experienced is just life with its ups and downs. Sometimes the downs seem overwhelming, but we all get through it one way or another. I don't think Skip was looking for condolences, just some sympathetic ears. I recently had two lifetime friends die, one from a particularly nasty cancer and the other from the flesh eating disease. One was in his fifties and the other had just retired. Tragic ends for both, and I miss them, but I don't want condolences from anyone, least of all from a group held together purely by a love of DVDs.
You are all well meaning, and your responses to Skip's losses are commendable, just a little overboard in my mind. | | | Graham |

I also don't think you can speak for Skip as to what he wants. We All are held together by something, even the love of DVD's. I'm sorry for your recently loss. I'm speaking from the heart as a Christian and a human being. |

| Posted: | | | | I hate getting old, too, for many of the reasons you mention, Skip. The only consolation I can think of to getting old is the certain knowledge that the alternative is worse. Keep the faith, friend. 2010 is a new year, some say a new decade (though I think that is really 2011), and I hope it is a better year for you than 2009 was. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges?
