Never seen the movie in this offer... but it is all a matter of taste. Just like half the movies you mentioned I can't make it all the way through.
Need to remember...
No movie is for everyone... but every movie is for someone.
Thanks for posting the offer Skip... I don't have blu-ray yet so I won't be able to take advantage of it. But glad for those that can!
If you could explain your taste to me cause i tried looking through your 4000 or so collection and it looks rather diverse.
Yeah i found the film some what entertaining although i found the acting rather dull and unconvincing. The actually story it self kept me from falling alseep.
It could be worse could be Unbreakable which is a pile of utter boring nonsense. Ok, fine we know you don't like the movie and you are welcome to your opinion. But the bolded comment is way out of line, why does he. me or anyone else need to explain their choice of collection to anyone else.Do you expect everyone in the world to share your taste, opinions and act like you...what a boring place that would be.
Skip
Emm well i never stated once ppl should like all the same stuff that's the beauty of film it covers all human interests. I never said he had a bad taste in films and was just confused as he said he did not like those films yet his collection was rather diverse so that's why i asked what exactly his tastes where.
Yes i think unbreakable is utter nonsense maybe you don't and that's fine.
You just trying to cause an argument for the sake of argument.
tsk tsk No not at all. I find your questioning of Pete's taste to be in bad taste all on it's own, Alba. No argument, I just found your comment to be just flat wrong.
Skip My pizza was 15 mins late that's flat out wrong. |

| Posted: | | | | I took it to ask a general question so that perhaps something else could be recommended that FilmAlba may think Addicted would like. btw, If you really like horror Addicted, check out the Hammer Horror stuff, in particular Frankenstein Created Woman and Scars of Dracula. |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the suggestions... the only Hammer Horror I have is "The Satanic Rites of Dracula" which I found fair. But I have been wanting to check out some others.
As for FilmAlba's post that everyone is talking about... I am so used to taking flack on the types of stuff I watched I didn't notice anything that bad in the post (Skip... which part are you talking about?) about Unbreakable since I own it? | | | Pete |

But I have been wanting to check out some others. If you're multi-region, Optimum released a 21-disc set which is really cheap online in the UK. Unfortunately for me I owned a bunch individually before realising. If you are to check out some more Hammer Horror then definately stick to the gothic horror stuff first rather than the films like Prehistoric Women and She. |

| Posted: | | | | Is that an S or a 5?
If it's a 5, try this:
This hack was successfully applied to the Philips DVP1540/12.
1. Turn on the unit 2. Open the loading tray 3. Press the "Setup" button on the remote 4. Navigate to the "Preferences" page using the right arrow key 5. Enter 138931 6. You will now see the current region code displayed 7. Use the Up/Down arrow keys to select the region required or "0" for all regions 8. Press the "Play" button on the remote
*edit*
Looks like filmalba beat me to it. I'd be very surprised if it's not hackable because Philips' players usually are. | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com
