I ditched the cable too. I got to thinking - I only watched (or want) 6 channels, but to get most of those I had to buy the 100+ channel package. So instead of the like $14 basic charge for cable it was the like $60 charge. Not worth it.
Did that years ago. Don't miss either of them. Do wish I could get my local PBS station.
I pay $40 a month for basic internet. It's a price I can live with, though I wish it was cheaper. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.
