Initial contributions are the worst, no one to verify any information that is being contributed & lean contribution notes. And the same can be said about the opposite ... just because there's nothing in the contribution notes doesn't make the info incorrect. The info should be verified by the contributor. In this case the initial contributor, Greyhulk, has clarified the issue by stating that he has verified the info with AnyDVD HD. The same also applies to subsequent contributors in that they should verify the info before changing it. If someone doesn't have a means to verify that info then it shouldn't be changed to avoid submitting incorrect data. That piece of info can be left to someone else that has the means to verify that info. Either way, if there was a question in regards to the accuracy of the original contribution a simply PM to the initial contributor could have answered the question. |

| Posted: | | | | Out of curiosity I downloaded the profile so I could see it for myself. And after looking at it I would have voted no anyway... not only because of the region but because the contributor also took cast (5 cast members) and crew (Director only) from the box... which is in itself against the rules... as the rules state that info must come from the credits. As we all know there is no guarantee that the box matches the credits. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I totally agree that if the profile data doesn't match the data on the cover, you should never change it unless you can verify that the profile data is incorrect. The fact that it isn't mentioned in the contribution notes is irrelevant. Many profiles that have been brought over from the old site have no contribution notes at all. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Vzo9gLAGnA Honestly, it would be so much easier if everyone spoke English, there wouldn't be any confusion then. I learnt it when I was a toddler, it's that easy! I tried to learn German a few years ago; nightmare! After six months I'd only got as far as "the bumble bee flies over the dunes", (but in German of course). I struggled to apply this useful phrase on a practical level, although it was an interesting conversation starter... and in my case finisher too. | | | Do you ever find yourself striving for perfection with an almost worthless attempt at it? Guttermouth "Lemon Water". Also, I include in my Profiler database VHS tapes, audio DVDs, audio books (digital, cassette and CD), video games (digital, DVD and CD) and 'enhanced' CDs with video tracks on them, as well as films and TV I've bought digitally. So I'm an anarchist, deal with it. Just be thankful I don't include most of my records and CDs etc in it too; don't think I haven't been tempted... |

That's usually a problem of inappropriate conversation partners. All you'd have to do is to find some beekeepers in our coastal areas. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
