Edit to add that I just tried to add. Dpb at the end and tried to do a restore through DVD profiler and DVD profiler open window doesn't even show it in the folder where it's in.
It just looks like smaller files would work better.
I have updated to the New beta of DVD profiler, and that was a zip file.
Perhaps that would work better?
Read the last sentence exactly as written and do it. I assumed you knew how to do a DVD Profiler restore. Of course I know how to do a restore, I've been here for a long time. Anyway, I tried doing a restore. In the open tab the file isn't showing up at all. Even though when I go directly outside of DVD profiler, the file is right there. DVD profiler just isn't recognising the downloaded file via the restore window. I have downloaded the onlinelist.dod file from here and that downloaded correctly to my phone. I have downloaded headshot files recently and they downloaded correctly too. I don't think it should matter, but I downloaded it via the website, and not their app. Could that have screwed up the file type? |

| | Posted: | | | | C'mon guy. When you do the restore, just type in the complete file path, whatever it is. The only reason that you can't see the file is that DVD profiler has a .dpb filter in the Browse bar, that you can override just by typing in the actual FULL File Path, such as "C:\Users\CubbyUps\Desktop\CubbyUpsBatch1.bin".
I tried to cover all the bases this time ...
Oh, and by the way, per the reminder of AiAustria, if you are going to be restoring successive batches into the same database, make sure you (1) backup before each restore, and (2) do a partial restore to avoid erasing what you had before - it should be additive.
Ok, I think that's it now. Hopefully the file is not corrupted, and you get the data. It worked for me yesterday. | | | Thanks for your support.
