Hi everyone,
I went to page one to download both the DROID_DVDP(1).apk and the plugin_install.
FileFactory is not a very nice interface (unless you pay). But the problem is elsewhere : setup.exe that is downloaded does not go through Symantec/Norton filter, because of "bad reputation".
Anyone been through this new one? I have a VAIO PC running under Windows.
Unclemib, kind of frustrated :=(

I am deadlocked...

  Hi.
I have no idea about the warning you are getting. I just downloaded from FileFactory within the last couple of minutes. I scanned the setup using Trend Micro AV. No issues. Installation flagged NO issues.
I run the plugin on two separate machines, with two separate respected AV's, and neither is showing an issue.

I know I had the same problem as Unclemib with Norton.
That's why I decided to wait for the android app from Invelos..
Don't know if that was the right choice.
Maybe I have to replace Norton...

Hello,
I have problems with my Nexus 7. I tried to export my file to a "removable disk",
but I'm not able to select the file "droid_dvdp_is_here" because the folder is not
shown in windows7(64bit).
The Nexus7 created the following folder: /storage/sdcard0/droid_dvdp.

@ Ferrari328: You posted you did it manual. Can you please explain it in easy words, for a german newbie.

Thanks

Hi!
One question. With the phone connected, there is the section "use removable disk", in the plugin, and the button to open the dialog to point to the correct folder on your phone,

Do you get this while in "removable disk mode? You just need to find the dvd_profiler_is_here file in the droid_dvdp folder you reference above.

Once you are pointed to that file, you should be able to do an automatic export.

Good luck!

*** this Post was modified, becauce the status of the problem changed ***

Hi Dave,
thanks for your fast answer. I fixed this problem, but got anotherone....

Fixing: Reboot the nexus 7. After this, the folder can be selected, but....

I have the same problem like TOM told on page 29) (Posted: September 8, 2012 9:28 PM) Point 2.)

Although I selected the folder droid_dvdp, it is not shown in the field on the right of "Use removable disk". This field is still grey and filled with a path like "C:\Users\Papa\Appdata\Local\Microsoft..." (see the hardcopy of TOM). And after pressing export, the same ERROR-Messages are shown.

I changed USB-debugging to ON on my Nexus 7 but nothing changed.

Help?

Are they for free? I already have Windows Update, Windows Firewall and Windows Defender.

Windows update - designed to update windows files
windows firewall - designed to block some accesses from outside your Pc
Windows defender - designed to block spyware

none of these is a Antivirus program.

There are a number of free antivirus programs. The most well known is Avg Free you could try that one.

I'm very surprised that in this day and age someone is using a Pc who has no awareness of viruses. I'm afraid your machine will already have some since you have never prevented them from going on your pc. you will need to run the following to try and remove them before you install the AV (since this would only install on top of the existing viruses).

I suggest you run more than one of the following so you try and remove all of them from your PC.

housecall

Eset online

panda

Kaspersky

I had to do this with a colleagues from work (his home PC) which had no AV. I got to more than 300 separate viruses before I stopped counting. Of course his daughter had been using the Pc so had taken no care of where she was going on the internet at all.

Hey,

you must export your collection with the export Plugin. You can find it in the main program in the Plugins section.

Export the collection then click on copy to device (if you have your Phone connected as flash drive)
