I've been periodically checking this thread over the last few days to see if anyone has any updates, seeing as how it has a new post each time I logon. Unfortunately, this very helpful thread has been hijacked by our own resident Perry Mason.

Even though he has been asked a few times to cease from posting if he hasn't anything constructive to contribute, he continues to hold this thread hostage. So, if words aren't strong enough to make him see the light, maybe this little snippet will...

I can withstand the scrutiny Skip, you go and call the copyright enforcement division and show them this thread and after they come and talk to us, I am sure we can all sue you for defamation of character. Since you are accusing everyone here with no proof, you have not seen anyone of the individuals on this boards computer, you are making baseless accusations on  what people say on a message board.

You can't if you are sharing copyrighted pictures, echoes.That's my point an di you are tehn understand the issue and dial it back and don't be so blatant. You aren't going to go run to a cop and say Come and get me officer, i am going to go 100 MPH right now would you. Same thing here, just don't be so obvious and don't do what fraggle did and stick your finger in the laws eye.

BTW, if you can withstand the scrutiny kudos to you. I'll take you at your word, then why are defending thievery, the people who hold the copyright are legally entitled to be compensated, and sharing of images deprives them of the compensation they are entitled to.  I would think things coukld be discussed in this thread without being so blatant and obvious about it. I know that I am a minority everywhere on this, but that does not make me wrong, the law is there, I didn't write it, I only obey it. There is not safety in numbers or in borders, if you think I enjoy this guess again.

You can call me pious, or almost anything you wish it doesn't bother me, there is no excuse for breaking the law, and as I was taught as a child, ignorance of the law is no excuse. You can't feign ignorance and what I see is willful and knowingly ignoring the law, but that isn't my job. I have had people dealt with for piracy of videotapes and for stealing cable signals, so I am pretty firm in my knowledge, please people, I am begging you, just dial it back. It doesn;'t seem that big a request. Your insults directed at me are only pushing me where i don't want to go, I don't want to do something that will hurt friends, but....if I must. Can you not honor a very simple request.
