| Posted: | | | | TAPS" Like you Probably Never heard it...! Beautiful...! It's traditional for "Taps" to be played by bugle or trumpet for departed Military or Veterans... The conductor of the orchestra is Andre Rieu from Holland . The young lady, her trumpet and her rendition of TAPS makes your hair stand on end. Many of you may never have heard taps played in its entirety, For all of the men and women that have died for you to have the freedom you have in America. This is an opportunity you won't want to miss and I guarantee you'll never forget. Melissa Venema, age 13, is the trumpet soloist. She is also from Holland . Here is Taps played in its entirety. The original version of Taps was called "Last Post" It was written by Daniel Butterfield in 1801. It was rather lengthy and formal, as you will hear in this clip, so in 1862 it was shortened to 24 notes and re-named Taps. Melissa Venema is playing it on a trumpet whereby the original was played on a bugle. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. Ineptocracy, You got to love it. Guess what..... it's twins (or decent editing) multiple sets of twins (or split-screen editing) + decent acting and as many run-throughs as needed = good illusion/false reality. Patty Duke doesn't have a twin sister, but they were able to create a TV series showing her and her "identical cousin" side by side in episodes back in the 60s. Today, creating the same thing is editor child's play. (I can name several obvious giveaways, but the whole point of illusion is to be surprised and to be left in wonder. Magic isn't magic anymore when you know all of the secrets.) | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

| Posted: | | | | Which is why I mentioned the use of multiple takes (if editing wasn't used.) Do it 50 times and use the one that worked. There are plenty of unseen tools that could have been used to aid in the trick.
If you want to PM, I can explain further evidence (some real, some speculatory). There's too much to say here without rambling. | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

| Posted: | | | | The Animusic "instruments" have always been great fun to watch. After these several years, I still like this one best. It originally came to me as an e-mail attachment claiming to be a real machine created by some university that took months to build and a whole bunch of tries to get it to function properly all of the way through the song. (Obviously not true, but the person who sent it to me believed everything she read in e-mails back then.) | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

| Posted: | | | | ^ That's certainly a nice effort. It seems a little too unrefined given the sounds are synth-produced, but I guess the bulk holds all of the balls. World record paper airplane throw: 226 feet, 10 inches. According to the designer in another video (which led me to this one) it took three years of research including studying a spacecraft failure to improve his original design. He also says the new record beat the old by 19 feet (though I question that. It doesn't look at all that far from the red lane even after the skid) | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.
