Goody for you .
Don't let the door hit ya where the Good Lord split ya on your way out . You really are an arrogant sob. I must say I agree with Gr0mit and giggi33.. Moving on to a product that actually exists. Its no use calling DVDP The best when its not covering the customers requests. Maybe he should call it The best Apple app. For one man to do all this programming just by him self is hopeless. Bring in some help and deliver a product. To bad cause it really is A great program. So long |

When these guys sign off and reference the Software Competitor that they are changing to, that in my opinion is a rule violation and they'll receive my arrogant fare-thee-well . | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection | | | Last edited: by Bad Father |

Why are developers dragging their feet over Android: This - lack of sales This - fragmentation and poor development environments This and this - a significant number of Android users want software for free (probably goaded by the "open source" myth of Android) ...and finally this - a truly frightening graph for a developer that is counting on the more advanced features of Android for their app. In our case, we have abandoned the Android fork for our software (for the foreseeable future) due to the problems above and some other issues around poor hardware performance. We'll keep an eye on things, but don't expect the situation to change quickly. Our developers continue to "play" in the Android space to keep their skills up, but only because we can afford to do so. Now, consider how the above must look to a single person shop. Not good. Ranting about not having an Android version will not get it done. There needs to be a culture change in the Android community that says they are prepared to reward good quality software, significantly decease piracy, and put pressure on Google and the device vendors to fix the fragmentation problem. | | | Last edited: by johnd |

However, Invelos keeps this neverending story alive by mentioning "Actually there have been multiple comments by Invelos on this. We do not post estimated release dates, but can confirm that an Android app is in development." a couple of pages back in this same topic. If Invelos has its doubt to release an Android App because of the reasons you mention, then the company should be firm and just mention there will be no Android App released. That will certainly set things straight and end this discussion. As is people are left in the blind and hope someday an Android App will surface. |

Why you Android users keep spamming the threads with your whinning and griping is beyond me. It's been confirmed that an official invelos app for Android users is in developement. Be patient! It took nearly 3 years from announcing the developement of an Apple app for iphone/iPod users until it was finally released. I would assume it would take just as long if not longer for an Android app considering how many mutant variations of Android are out there . | Posted: | | | | Is Invelos interested in keeping the DVD Profiler customer's at all? It would be a shame if such a great software was going down just because the developers seem to oversleep the market...
I've used DVD Profiler and the mobile version since many years now. But I have switched over to an Android mobile (Galaxy SII) and now I want to use DVD Profiler on this device, too.
So, what's up with an Android version now?
Regards, Jo |

Regards, Jo You could always try the un-official android app in the other mobile thread. While it's at beta 0.4, it works (HTC Droid Incredible 2, not rooted). Sure, it's beta software, come on over and help us work out the bugs !
