If you think the software is that good and have been using it for a few years whay have you not paid for it? After all, it took time and effort to design and write such a good system. Why not reward that with the payment? Not paying for this sort of very good software could lead to the demise of this sort of creation.
I paid after trying it for a couple of hours and have not looked back. It does what is advertised and more and is worth a whole lot more! I would gladly pay for each upgrade as it is such a good program.
In IT a lifetime is relative and usually runs for only a few months before something 'new' is obsolete, so being asked to pay for an upgrade, especially as in this case the upgrade is major, is not unreasonable. For most other softwares out there you pay for each release!
So, stop being a tight wad and miserly and pay up or shut up!
