You don't have to register to vote. Did you try to put the mouse cursor at the very end of the top-right corner? It's a very finicky vote button. At least in some browsers.
KM Well tonight I just logged onto the page put my mark in the poll and clicked ' boom' voted., Went to do it again and it said 'You've already voyed once today' ..
