You can see the math here. Nope. The check states e^(i*Pi), not e^(2*Pi) as in this "solution". Obviously somebody wasn't even able to read the problem right. e^(i*Pi) = -1 The sum of 1 to infinity over 1/2^n = 1 Thus the result is 0.002 which should be rounded down to 0 (at least I guess this is also true for American checks ). | | | Michael |
