Zardoz (1974) This was great fun! Also have to mention The Man WHo Fell to Earth, with David Bowie as an alcoholic(!) alien. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

Also, two others from Laloux, Maitres du temps and Gandahar. All three are available on DVD from Masters of Cinema in the UK, best editions worldwide. Fantastic Planet will soon see a Blu-ray too

I just read about the plot on Amazon UK and it sort of reminded me of Firefly, which I loved. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | I saw it long, long ago on TV. Pretty good, although I'm sure it will look very dated by today's standards, especially in the (crummy) special effects department. Could be sort of camp to watch now. | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

| Posted: | | | | A Scanner Darkly. One of the best Dick adaptations. It got overlooked due to people not being into roto-scoping or something. |
