Repulsion was made three years after Polanski's first feature film. I think if I were to write a book that has become popular, and years later I revisit the material and want to change a few things for the reprint, I also wouldn't care what fans have to say. Not saying I think it's a great idea of him to make all those changes, just saying that in the end, a creator is free to change his creation as he sees fit.

Would you feel the same if the architect came and made alterations to your house? Actually, on occasions, architects do become involved/interfere with alterations like paint jobs...

They were probably ordered to take it down because the name www.milleniumfalcon.com is owned by LucasFilms, LTD and if you enter that into your Browser's address bar you are redirected to Starwars.com. The site where those images were posted was named www.millenniumfalcon.com and was probably too close to the site name owned by Lucas.

He already stated that it would cost to much to do. Which is debatable even to a layman on the subject.

Or if what he meant to say was that it will cost to much to justify the cost, from a business standpoint. Cause only a small die hard section of the fan base who would be interested. That's why he released the theatrical versions on a limited edition DVD.

And they where not even remastered for DVD. So unless old George changes his changing ways, and has a new found affinity for his originals. And releases them in some very high priced limited edition box set or sets.

Then the originals will rot away in some storage facility somewhere. Never getting the full treatment they truly deserve, given there cultural and historical cinematic significance.

Im sorry but Georges films or not, till he learns to respect his films as they where made at time. Then i won't given in and given him a signal penny so he can ba$tardize his films even more.
