LMFAO
You actually have no clue as to what that even means, do you? Look it up. A social democratic civic nationalist is by definition a liberal . Similar but different. In social democracy there's much more emphasis on mixed economic enterprising with social democracy, with education and healthcare. More government regulation to protect workers and consumers. And a more progressive tax system that don't leave one class with all the burden. |

You bet! I respect and usually, almost always are behind your opinions what comes to DVDP land, but I think this polical "conversation" is leading nowhere. Benjamin Franklin wrote: "I wish that the bald eagle had not been chosen as the representative of our country, he is a bird of bad moral character, he does not get his living honestly, you may have seen him perched on some dead tree, where, too lazy to fish for himself, he watches the labor of the fishing-hawk, and when that diligent bird has at length taken a fish, and is bearing it to its nest for the support of his mate and young ones, the bald eagle pursues him and takes it from him.... Besides he is a rank coward; the little kingbird, not bigger than a sparrow attacks him boldly and drives him out of the district. He is therefore by no means a proper emblem for the brave and honest. . . of America.. . . For a truth, the turkey is in comparison a much more respectable bird, and withal a true original native of America . . . a bird of courage, and would not hesitate to attack a grenadier of the British guards, who should presume to invade his farmyard with a red coat on." |

I have no idea what point you are trying to make here. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar |

| Posted: | | | | Quoting Kulju: Quote: That's true, but statements and attitude like this are the reason why the US has the reputation that it has/had. Statements like this will bring them back to square one where they were some years ago in front the eyes of the rest of the world.
Don't get me wrong. I personally don't have anything against US, but statements like this make me feel sick. While i don't agree with the aggressive stance of US military, Iraq war for example. But then again, was it good for Europe to get away from Rwanda when things got tough? Would Somalia be a functional society if US didn't step out? Would South Korea be in the same state as the North without the help of US? Was it OK to bomb Libya? ...or should UK have acted when they started doing terror attacks? I don't know. Where should you draw the line? If a country knowingly harbors terrorists that prepare and make attacks to another country, is that country innocent? If a country wants to wipe out a whole race of people and is building a nuclear bomb, should we wait for a declaration of war? I don't know. | | | Last edited: by whispering |

| Posted: | | | | When things don't affect their home people sit back and criticize every move you make, your to aggressive, your war mongers. But boy when you are affected, we need you and we appreciate your sacrifices. If it was up to me the ones that dislike us I would say your on your own don't look to us for help anymore if or when the sh-t hits the fan IMO. |
