ateo357 has already answered his own question:

"people here may be using it and not pirating, but can you say that for everyone that uses it."

The commotion is because the demise of that program affects some perfectly legal and useful things that "people here" do. What others do is immaterial to this thread. Likewise, any illegal activities are automatically not part of this thread, and need not be discussed nor justified.

It is only necessary to say: "Sorry to lose such a useful program." IMHO.
Thanks for your support.

People who pirate are always going to have software to do such. All this did was cut out those of us who are legitimate.

I understand  the concern about these programs being used to pirate movies, but for me I enjoy collecting and if I buy a rare or oop movie I want the ability to make a copy of it for my personal use so I don't  take a chance of damaging it and be able to watch it when ever I want.

You'd kind of think they'd change the digital signature in it though. SlySoft still lives in it a little bit.

I did not even know about this site.

Boy am I out of the loop, apparently!

Don't be so quick to think existing LTL will carry over forever.  The developers have been elusive enough for customers to question that thought and there have been some members pressing very hard to have everyone repurchase a license and to do away with LTL.
