If it's available on the net, it's up for anyone to gather/collect (legality non-withstanding).  Take a look at the Internet Archive website for example.

You also do not have to contribute to the collection. All but some obscure DVD's I own are already in the database so most people don't even get a chance to contribute because other people already beat them to it. When you use the program, you are granted the right to use the profiles/scans that were contributed by other users. Not contributing doesn't make one less of a user than one who does.

For your information EPKJ, though I don't know why I waste my time on a non-productive member of the Community. The data I collect pertains to my evaluation of users Contributions (in your case a big fat ZERO, since you don't Contribute) and their voting record. The reason for doing this is reference for myself only, we have users that vote Yes on anything that pops up regardless of whether the data is valid or the Contribution conforms to the rules.

Other user, like yourself only have the ability to whine and complain and point fingers while Contributing NOTHING to this Community. So how about closing down your keyboard and actually tryinmg to do something POSIUIVE for the first time in your life. This is a big project

Well, you just proved that you are an elitist. I don't have to contribute anything to this site. I am a customer!  I owe this site nothing! I owe you even less!

Yeah, and its a two way street, slick!  If you're going to act like a 5-year old, expect to be treated like one.

As opposed to a bitter, angry, cranky 57 year old mad gorilla?  Which he admits to readily on his soap box of hate and anger. Wow. The fact that the blowhards around here seem to be in the 50+ to 60+ age range doesn't say much for their life accomplishments if they need to resort to this behavior to be heard. Especially in a forum that doesn't have much affect on "real life" as agreed to in an earlier post.

I just noticed, Skip, that you're at the 2000 mark already.  With the forum only being open for 83 days, that's an average of over 24 posts per day.  I'm not sure that's healthy, man.

As a starter, I typically stay out of these little battles.  However, I must ask you junior what "life accomplishments" you have attained??  To begin, I was taught that one should respect the opinions of one's elders even if we didn't necessarily agree with them.  However, I have noted that your greatest contribution in these forums is to "dance about" and take cheap shots at everyone.  I did a little review and I can't find a single post from you offering anything constructive.  If you would like to compare notes on "life accomplishments". I would be more than happy to have an adult conversation with you on the topic.  If you don't have the skills to contribute to the community database, at least have the maturity to post in a constructive manner.  And just so you won't lump me into your little category, I neither hate anyone, nor am I angry at anyone.  You may consider my generation to be "blow hards" but it has been my experience that the great majority of the members of my generation tend to take every aspect of life very seriously. Now that I have put my two cents into the pot, I think I will return to something constructive.  Like adding value to the collective.

Again...you take a picture and foolishly assume thats me...however, that's my son.

My bio:

It was the strong opinion of seven former [redacted] Bank directors -- [redacted] -- that there was a need and a niche for a locally-owned and locally managed bank. Their goal was to create a bank that would offer more personalized services to customers and answer questions locally, not in some remote bank office in another state.

Financial Highlights
Eighty-eight  Month Totals:
Loans         $70,883,000
Deposits $70,280,000
Assets         $83,032,000

Organizer and Director -- A lifetime community resident, [redacted] was a director at The [redacted] Bank from March 1986 to April 1998, when [redacted] Bancshares sold the bank to [redacted]. His entrepreneurial ventures include real estate construction and development, oil and gas production and a new car and truck dealership.

How about you? Oh yeah. I'm 48.

You should really know the answer to the questions you ask before you ask. That way you won't look like an idiot.

I don't know why you bothered with all the 'redacted' stuff.  Everything you just posted is easily found with minimal effort...it literally took me less that 5 seconds.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.

We will teach it to them again.

I wasn't referring to you age "junior" and I rarely pay attention to avatar's, I was referring to the lack of maturity with which you post. As to you bio, sounds like a glorified "loan officer" to me.  I personally know at least 3 people that can quote statistics similar to yours that work at my local bank.  And no, not getting into a cat fight.
