- JAG Technically JAG wasn't cancelled. They (the cast/producers/etc) decided to end the series. |

| Posted: | | | | Firefly: One of Fox's biggest blunders IMO. X-Files: Although not cancelled, the last 2 seasons were a huge disappointment to fans. The Lone Gunmen: Never really got the chance to blossom. InvasionSurfaceThe Black Donnellys: A favorite with my 2 brothers and I. We're the Donnellys and since the show was cancelled, when asked how we are, we simply reply "We were cancelled" . | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

Thats definately not the first time i've heard that, i liked her in Into The Blue and Fantastic Four. But theres definately been a lack of choices given to her, in which she can truly flourish I hated her in FF . And they 'cancelled' GG, yeah . Although, if you call GG canceled, you might as well call every tv show that stops, cancelled. It ran for 7! seasons. The actresses (mainly Alexis Bledel) were done with it, so they put an end to it. Every show stops sometimes, we can only hope they put a good end to them.

| Posted: | | | | I can't think of too many series at the moment, but my main gripes are:
Angel - I would have loved to see more of Angel, I loved the series too much..
Deadwood - Waagh! Such a brilliant series, it made me go through so many emotions and I can't think of too many series that have done that to me.
Falcone - I loved Falcone, especially Titus Welliver. *love & drool* I'm just a sucker for movies and tv-series that have anything to do with the mob and I thought "Falcone" was a very nice and entertaining series on the subject. | | | "Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon is bright." |

| Posted: | | | | I agree with Firefly. Ended way too soon.
I also saw The Lone Gunmen mentioned. I really liked that one.
Enterprise started sucky, but got better in the 3rd season and was very, very good in it's fourth.
From the out of left field category, I'd pick Nowhere Man.
And if I could pick just one show to bring back, I'd have to say Arrested Development. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. | | | Last edited: by Mark Harrison |

i thought i was old... Well I planned to add, Grady, Captain Nice, and Friends and Lovers (Starring Paul Sand) but figured except for the 2nd title they would have been even more obscure that Hot L! Bobb | | | Do Cheshire Cats drink evaporated milk? |

| Posted: | | | | seems like I have to watch this "firefly" everyone's talking about... especially cause i'm such a big buffy fan. (the best most underated show (by adults) ever)
[TREK] I agree Enterprise took way too long to find it's legs. They started with the 4th season what they should have done from the beginning. I mean, that's what everyone was expecting, hoping. How could they miss so bad? Season 4 was amazing and exciting. The show could have stayed longer. On the Trek subject, someone here got it exactly right: TNG was a masterpiece. And I'm glad it ended at it's peak, and not dwindling. DS9 was amazing, but the last season, and the finale, not so much. Voy sucked, but it had the doctor and 7 of 9, so I watched it. And, not least at all, TOS. There's a premature cancelled show. [/TREK]
Although technically, as far as I know, it ain't cancelled yet, it's doubtful that Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is gonna make it past it's first season. I kinda like it.
so off the top of my head, that's it.
Star Trek TOS and (probably) Studio 60.
And Fawlty Towers (although I don't know if it was cancelled or it just ended).
As for great shows that ended in due course, like TNG, Buffy... I'm happy they ended well. You shouldn't drag a show past it's time. I'm happy Lost has a defined number of episodes to end. It's gonna make it amazing.
It's time TV producers learned that some things shouldn't be prolongued, and that some things should be given a chance. Imagine if Seinfeld or Star Trek TOS had been cancelled on their first season. They almost were. TV producers are amazingly near-sighted. Also, dragging a show past its prime can be bad financially in the long run (DVD sales)...
well, i've rambled long enough

(the best most underated show (by adults) ever) An absolute must see! It's kinda hokey...sorta like cowboys in space. But once you finish the series, believe me, you'll wish there was more .
