Nice choice. Have you seen Soldier of Orange? I've heard of this movie, but never saw it. In fact, I never found a french zone2 DVD edition, and didn't look at foreign editions. | | | Images from movies |

Please note that there is a change in that list (a replacement). In reference to the poll/opening post, I don't think the AFI list is all that good, as it restricts itself to US films iirc. Looking through, although the US-made films have a strong showing, lots of people have some great "foreign" films, including some I'd not heard of before. I think it would be quite fun to see some themed lists later (perhaps Top 10s) as a regular event (weekly, bi-weekly or monthly). I noticed lots of lists (mine included) don't have many pre-1980 films (some struggle with pre-1990), so I think that could make a cool list. Top 10 Non-English language films, Top 10 animated films, etc. If people can't think of 10 (worthy) films that they've seen, they can list the top ones they can recall. Meanwhile, is anyone else waiting for Ken Cole to get back with his list? I'm keen to see what he ranks, and I think Gerri Cole's list would be great to see too. Perhaps they might even like to make the final Top 25 something "official". | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |

Gerri is definitely invited I would love to see her list as well. There are some others I would also love to see their lists and I hope they post. Tallying the lists will be time intensive so it would be once a month at most. At least if I am the one running them. As I said if this one works out well, I am planning further lists. I think Womb6at has some good ideas. It has been mentioned a bigger list would be nice as well. The next one will likely be a top 50. Again thanks to all who have participated I am looking forward to the results. |

Some good ideas there Wombat. I also noticed that lack of pre-1980 and foreign films in most lists. It's funny how tastes vary, I had only one post-1980 film in my list. Somebody has to address the imbalance. | | | Last edited: by Telecine |

| Posted: | | | | Maybe more of a Feature Request, but wouldn't it be nice if Profiler gave us the ability to rank our collection? That way, each of us could rank all DVDs that we have and upon uploading them, Invelos would have a TON of information to use in developing lists such as this! |

It was hard enough trying to rank my Top 25! Top 10 was surprisingly easy, but after that I was fumbling. | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |

| Posted: | | | | I have 8 movies made and released prior to 1980 but it might be more an indication of my age since I was born in 1969 and grew up during the 70s. I did however include several modern films, including one released this year (WALL*E). | | | My Collection!!! |
