| Posted: | | | | The Holiday Two women, both at low points in their lives, trade houses for Christmas. In their temporary digs, each finds the last thing she was looking for - a new romance. My Thoughts: Easily watchable, feel-good romance, warm and escapist. Liked the message of 'don't be a pathetic shmuck and take the loser back' that came through with the one girl. I found this to be a sweet little film; a good chick flick. I'd definitely watch it again. My Rating: 2.5/5 (an entertaining waste of time) Totals:Christmas Movies: 5 Christmas Specials: 16 Christmas Episodes: 2 Christmas Shorts: 1 | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |

| Posted: | | | | Santa Buddies: The Legend of Santa PawsWhen Puppy Paws forgets the true meaning of Christmas, can the Buddies help him find some true Christmas spirit? My Thoughts: This is the latest installment in Disney's Buddies franchise, and I thought it was cute. It's not going to win any awards for a great movie, the CGI is lukewarm at best (shall we say hopelessly obvious), and the plot is straightforward and predictable, but the dogs are cute as can be and that makes up for a lot of faults. Kids will likely like it more than adults, but my mom and I didn't have any trouble sitting through and enjoying it for what it is. My Rating: 2/5 (not as well made as others, but still an entertaining waste of time) Totals:Christmas Movies: 6 Christmas Specials: 16 Christmas Episodes: 2 Christmas Shorts: 1 | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield | | | Last edited: by Danae Cassandra |
