No love for DUNE ? I'd love to see David lynch's director s cut for this.

Just ordered the theaterical cut on B-rD, I hope this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Received it today, I'm very excited.
Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect]

A Scanner Darkly. One of the best Dick adaptations. It got overlooked due to people not being into roto-scoping or something.

agree, it's a great film

As far as PKD goes, this is not only my favourite adaptation, but also my favourite novel (out of those I've read). Yes, I do prefer it to Blade Runner / Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep (neither of which did much for me).

Screamers is another great PKD adaptation (adapted from the short story Second Variety). Lower budget than many of the other adaptations, gritty (and it should be) and with some great stop-motion work.

1984 [1954, 1956, 1984] (all versions are great, though I prefer the B&W ones)
H.G. Wells' The Time Machine [1960]
A Clockwork Orange [1971]
Stalker [1979]
Starship Troopers [1997]
The Fifth Element [1997]
Tamala 2010: A Punk Cat in Space [2002]
Save the Green Planet [2003]
G.O.R.A.: A Space Movie [2004]
A Scanner Darkly [2006]

Haven't seen but look promising:
Things to Come [1936]
This Island Earth [1955]
It Came from Beneath the Sea [1955]
Earth vs. the Flying Saucers [1956]
Forbidden Planet [1956]
Planeta Bur [1961]
Ikarie XB 1 [1963]
Barbarella [1968]
Test Pilota Pirxa [1978]

Since that post, from that list I've seen
It Came from Beneath the Sea [1955] (liked)
Earth vs. the Flying Saucers [1956] (loved)
Forbidden Planet [1956] (meh)
Barbarella [1968] (didn't finish)

The restored versions of La Voyage dans La Lune (1902) and Metropolis (1927) are superb!
Godzilla [1954] also gets a lot of love from me.
More recently, I've really enjoyed Dredd (2012)
Flash Gordon (1980) is still campy fun.
Both versions of The Fly [1958, 1986] are great fun, although my wife still hasn't forgiven me for getting her to watch the 1980s version, and continues to refer to Jeff Goldblum as Brundlefly.
I'm actually quite surpised how well the special effects (and story) of Jurassic Park (1993) still hold up.

Finally, I'd love to be able to get this on Blu-ray, and show some support for Jesus Orellano:
