| Posted: | | | | Team GB: Athens 2004: Gold - 9 Silver - 9 Bronze - 12 Total - 30 Beijing 2008: Gold - 19 Silver - 13 Bronze - 15 Total - 47 Current total for London: Gold - 0 Silver - 1 Bronze - 2 Of course, all our good events are 'in progress'. I would love to see an improvement on Beijing's total. |

Also taping the Panasonic 3D channel. My first experience watching 3D broadcast. Awesome effects wtaching the whitewater events.
Gladdens the heart to see the World cooperating on something for a change ... maybe there is hope.

Getting a bit pissed off with the press now saying they are disappointed with the UK performance. We have 63m people in GB... of course we are not going to be able to compete with US (300m+) and China (1.3b+) but relatively speaking, they are doing us proud. Again, if we can beat the 47 medal total from four years ago, then that would be several Olympics in a row where we have improved. | | | Last edited: by samuelrichardscott |
