Pete,
I have been where you are and I know there are no words to change or heal it, but just know that the memories will always be there to comfort you down the road. My condolences, prayers and thoughts go out to you and yours. As someone in movies once said, "keep breathing in and out".

I am so very sorry for your loss Pete.

Hopefully you can take comfort in knowing that she is in a better place with no pain or fear or sorrow.

She will continue to live through you and Brittany.

Peace.

I'm so very sorry Pete.  I'm getting wet eyes just thinking about your loss.  It was time for her to finally meet the Lord.  I'm sure she is smiling down on you and your family for all the support and strenght and love you gave her over the years.

She will always be with you in your heart.

GOD bless and peace be with you and your family.

My sincerest condolances Pete. May your mother rest in peace. Take comfort that she is in a better place now, where pain is no more.

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away."

My condolences too, Pete. It's so very hard.  I just got done taking my mom on a 10-day trip to England and Scotland that she's been talking about doing for years, and I will always treasure that time together since she was feeling very good being off chemo for a while.  She goes in for a catscan today and we should know what the future holds tomorrow, but I'm preparing to be where you are now before long.  We all get there some day though.  Just enjoy the time you have, because it's gone before you know it.

Mark

Thanks for all the kind words everyone.

My Mother's Obituary Notice showed up in the online version of our local newspaper today. So I imagine it will be in the actual paper as well.
