My Thoughts:
One of my favorite episodes of one of my favorite TV Series! I normally don't care for what I call "Period Pieces"... movies/episodes that take place well into the past. But this is definitely an exception. I liked the way that they showed there was a lot of magic know-how lost over the years. And I especially liked the reveal of who it was they went back in time to save. Excellent episode!

My Thoughts:
Really good episode... and another Halloween one. I keep forgetting about this Halloween episode... as it is really low key... Halloween is not the main focus of the storyline. More of a backdrop for the story. It is fun seeing an episode with Kaley Cuoco again. It has been a while since I watched this season. I almost forgot that she joined the cast!

The Walking Dead: Season 2: Bloodletting
Rick possibly stumbles upon another safe spot while attempting to come to the aid of someone in danger. Meanwhile, Shane heads off on a mission for much-needed medical supplies.

My Thoughts:
Another episode I enjoyed quite a bit. Not quite as much as the first one of the season... but still very good. Maybe I am getting spoiled by DVDs... but I found myself getting aggravated by all the cliffhangers and having to wait for a week for the next episode. While watching it on DVD I don't have to wait. So watching it as it airs is a bit off-putting. While there is a bit of zombie action in this episode... it is much more story oriented then action-packed.

My Thoughts:
I said when we watched part one that Britt and I would be watching one a day until we watched all 4 movies while she was on her 4 day weekend. Well we kinda fell behind on that idea so are now trying to play catch-up. This one is a pretty cute family film for the holiday... though I did enjoy the first one a little more.

My Thoughts:
Brittany and I both agree that this one is better then the previous movie. Enjoyed the storyline. It was fun to see the Halloweentown creatures in the mortal world. I don't know if I would say it was quite as good as the first movie... but I would say it is close anyway.

Subtitles: None

Stars:

My Thoughts:
This is the final of the Halloweentown movies. My first time seeing it. Brittany's second time. Another one that we enjoyed. In this one the youngest sister was missing. And the oldest sister is played by a different actress. We did enjoy it... but I don't think it was quite as good as the previous movie. But it has a few good chuckles in it. While I enjoyed watching the Halloweentown movies... of course the best part about it was doing so with my teen daughter.  Getting to spend the day with her was more important to me then anything I could have watched.

American Horror Story
American Horror Story is a dramatic television series created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. The story focuses on a family that moves to a house Los Angeles, unaware that it is haunted.

Father Ben Harmon (Dylan McDermott) is trying to deal with his wife's rejection after he has an affair with a student, and soon falls under the house's sway. Meanwhile, wife Vivien (Connie Britton) must not only try to forgive her husband but deal with the aftereffects of a miscarriage. Daughter Violet (Taissa Farmiga) is confronted with hostile girls at her new school and befriends her father's disturbed teenage patient, Tate Langdon (Evan Peters). And lurking nearby is neighbor Constance (Jessica Lange), a former actress who both hates and is oddly protective of her special-needs daughter Adelaide (Jamie Brewer), who can sense the house's evil.

Episodes:
- Pilot
- Home Invasion
- Murder House

My Thoughts:
A new horror series that started this month on FX. I been looking forward to this series since I first heard about it. Unfortunately... while I did enjoy it... the pilot episode didn't live up to my expectations. But it didn't take long for me to get into the storyline and started to enjoy the series more with each episode that I watched. My favorite episode so far is Home Invasion. Out of the first three episodes that aired so far that one kept my interest the most.

And with that I just made my goal for TV Show episodes!  I am glad I was able to meet that goal since it will probably be the only goal I meet this year!

On par with the first episode...more character driven and plot forming. I'll have to look at the writing credits because it's quite obvious to me that someone else has taken over the reigns in this department. And what's with the damn cliffhangers?!?! . This is going to get old very quickly if every episode is going to end in a cliffhanger.

Last Man Standing: Last Halloween Standing
Mike feels let down when his daughters aren't into celebrating Halloween with him the way they used to. He decides that his two-year-old grandson, Boyd, can be his perfect trick or treat partner. But Kristin, Boyd's mother, adamantly tells him that she doesn't want her son to go out on Halloween. Mike sneaks him out -- with a plan to get the child home before Kristin gets back from work.

My Thoughts:
A Halloween episode of the new Tim Allen sitcom. I have been enjoying this show quite a bit since it started. Tim Allen dresses as John Wayne from Green Berets. His wife (played by Nancy Travis) was dressed as a Sexy Pirate Princess. This episode also has a special guest appearance by Elvira. This is the first Halloween episode of the current season that I have seen so far. And was a good start.

I'm a big Tim Allen fan and I missed the pilot and first episode of this show because when I scheduled Windows Media Center to record it...I completely forgot to turn on my external HDD where my TV programs are recorded to   . I recorded last night's show and am so looking forward to seeing it tonight .

It was OK, but I think it's the weakest episode so far. I really laughed at the first two weeks' episodes.  Last night, not so much. Still one of the better new sitcoms of the season, though.

Supernatural
Season seven finds Dean and Sam reeling from the loss of their friend. Sam's violent memories of Hell threaten to overtake him, threatening not just his life, but his brother's as well. Meanwhile, Dean struggles under the weight of a secret that threatens to tear them apart. And even as the brothers traverse the backroads of America, hunting things that go bump in the night, something is coming for them. They are about to face an enemy more canny and adaptable than any they've ever fought. As the landscape around them becomes increasingly treacherous, the tools they've come to rely upon will be stripped away. Our heroes, like so many outlaws before them, will find themselves utterly outmatched and outgunned, with no one to rely on but each other.

Episodes:
1. Meet the New Boss
2. Hello, Cruel World
3. The Girl Next Door
4. Defending Your Life
5. Shut Up, Dr. Phil

My Thoughts:
Between last night and this morning I just watched the first 5 episodes of the new season of Supernatural. I enjoyed all the episodes so far. My favorite episode so far has to be Defending Your Life for a serious episode. though I also really enjoyed Shut Up, Dr. Phil which guest starred Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters... both of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame. Though this one was done in a somewhat more fun/silly way.

Love the show . I was reminded a little of Home Improvement...especially the scene where he was video taping the proper handling of the rifle. The child swapping on Halloween has been done before but that's ok.

How have you been watching the seventh season? Downloads? The CW is one of the channels I miss and can't pick up with just an antenna . I love the show.
