Glad to read you're still there.
From what you wrote I understand that there are currently more important things in your life than DVDs.

I'm not sure in which way I could be of assistance, but if there's anything I could do, please let me know.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Don't know that there's anything we could do for you, other than keep you in our prayers, which we'll be sure to do.  Whatever is going on, our best wishes are with you and our hope for the best.
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

Take my word for it, he is NOT Ken's alter ego!

That's very easy to believe since he doesn't have a clue about database design even though he claims that he has designed one of the worlds largest and most secure database among his many other professions. Not to mention the tens of thousands of hours he has contributed for the DVDP database LOL !!

In his personal life I wish nothing but the best for him, but here I don't miss the guy a bit.

I'm glad you're okay too.

I hope DVDs (and in particular the 'abuse' of DVD Profiler Rules) will soon be the biggest things you have to worry about.

Paul
Do you ever find yourself striving for perfection with an almost worthless attempt at it?  Guttermouth "Lemon Water".  Also, I include in my Profiler database VHS tapes, audio DVDs, audio books (digital, cassette and CD), video games (digital, DVD and CD) and 'enhanced' CDs with video tracks on them, as well as films and TV I've bought digitally.  So I'm an anarchist, deal with it.  Just be thankful I don't include most of my records and CDs etc in it too; don't think I haven't been tempted...

I hope things will work out for you, Skip. Having to hold 2 jobs at 61 years old is not easy, I'm sure. I really hope you'll be able to overcome your problems.

Skip was retired and had been for some time.  His retirement nest egg apparently disappeared.  Could be any number of reasons for that to happen:

1. Bad Investments
2. Embezzlement
3. Catastrophic Medical Bills
4. Family financial crisis
5. Lawsuit

or any number of others.  I have no personal knowledge, BTW.
