Well... you might recall that I said only one cacellation really pissed me off (The Pretender)... I didn't know it yet, but I was wrong.

I just found out that NBC has cancelled Crossing Jordan and I madder than ever.  It was by far my favorite network show currently airing.

Jericho.

I'm so pissed about this.
"I am Andrew Ryan and I am here to ask you a question:
Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his own brow?

No, says the man in Washington. It belongs to the poor.
No, says the man in the Vatican. It belongs to God.
No, says the man in Moscow. It belongs to everyone.

I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something
different. I chose the impossible. I chose…
Rapture."

It's funny, but the good shows - well, at least the ones we all think are good - don't get a chance, but there are 200 different Law & Order and CSI shows out there. Crap normal viewers don't watch, but those "important" few viewers who make the decisions on what stays on television watch.

Ones I miss :-

The Cape
Wonderfalls
Dark Angel
Dead Like Me

Will miss Veronica Mars assuming the CW cancel it today. Although since going to Uni, its gone the way of Buffy and been a big disappointment this season. Hardly anyone except Veronica is in it (not that is bad for the eyes, but not good for the stories). Seems, no one can write a series which transistions from high school to university. Gilmore Girls started going down hill when Rory's when to Yale.

I hope VM get's a 4th series, but set with her at the FBI.

Oh, couldn't stand Firefly (except for all the lovely actresses).

I was really sorry to see Pretender go - I loved that show! - I have yet to see the movies as they have not yet arrived, but according to all I have read they resolve some issues but open up more.

I loved Charmed and Friends and was sorry to see them go, but was happy with the way they were ended. Nothing was left hanging!

I have not completed watching Odyssey 5 but what I have seen so far looks great! I got this one on spec, knowing when I purchased it that it ended in a cliffhanger that was left unresolved. I would love to know why it was cancelled.

I am not a trekkie, having not watched any of those series, and have watched only the first episode of Firefly so cannot comment on those. I enjoyed the 1st season of Lost but have not yet watched the 2nd - a friend owns that.

I will be sorry to see the last of Stargate SG1. I agree, though that it could have ended successfully after season 8, BUT I was very happy to see it back and thought the way they brought in the new character was clever.

I also loved Charmed... probably my favorite show ever. I am thrilled we are finally getting the final season here in the US in September! But you know... as much as I love the show and sorry to see it go. I do think the timing was right. It was just time for the show to end.

Charmed was the one show I made a point of watching. I have had the DVDs now for about a month. They were released here late in April. I am amazed that it was released in SA before the US!
The timing WAS right to end the show and I was pleased with the way they concluded everything. It made the show more complete.
