Hah, I'm surprised by my own list. I'd never have expected that many 80s/2000s movies and that few 90s (1) and 40s movies. I'm also wondering why no silent made the list. I gotta watch more of those I own

A lot of things here that I'll have the only vote for, but so it goes.    The list said "favorite" so I went with that, and quality of the movie be damned.  These are all movies that I can, and have, sat through over and over and over again.  Love 'em all.  And by my count, only five made after 1980, though I shirked on the non-US films (only Seven Samurai, Prince Achmed and Girl Who Knew Too Much, unless you count 2001 as British).

Figure I may as well throw in my lot as well, although it seems I have a substantial bias in my choices. As with many others, I think that this could change significantly on another day.

I do not envy you the task of tabulation.  I tried a sneak peek the other day and it's a big headache just prepping the data (though hopefully you have an easier way) and then there's all the title variations (not to mention trilogies being listed as both individual parts AND as trilogies).
