Almost all birth years have been deleted. Only following same name cast or crew members remain: Kenny Baker 1912 & 1934 Matthew Beard 1925 & 1989 Colin Farrell 1938 & 1976 Harrison Ford 1884 & 1942 Jim Norton 1938 & 1968 Tracy Reed 1942 & 1949 Kevin Smith 1963 & 1970 Liz Smith 1921 & 1923 John Williams 1903 & 1932 Mike Mills 1958 & 1966
Does anybody have a headshot of Colin Farrell (1938)?
I hope we could be in public with the new master quite soon. So, if you have not yet downloaded the current version, please wait. This is going to be MUCH better. I'm probably coming from nowhere but there's also a certain Robert Taylor (1911-1969) who played in more than 80 movies and another Robert Taylor (no birthdate found) who played in the Matrix and started acting in 1988 (with more than 40 credits). I guess they are two different actors. | | | Last edited: by Sebastien |

regards AA already mentioned - was denied... Invelos doesn't want to officially endorse the project, due to the copyrights of the photos included - this is 100% user based - peer to peer. | | | -JoN |

Nice! Didn't know that! Ken, it would be really nice if you could make DVD Profiler add it itself
Bit too long to manually add each time (I don't have that kind of patience), but it's a nifty trick! For all those of us better klicking with mice: The option is hidden behind the "Advanced Image Search" attached right to the search buttons... | Posted: | | | | Sorry to be out of touch for so long everybody. I am currently preparing to take my CCNA certification exam and have been applying furiously for jobs since I am officially out of work at the end of August. My wife is also in the process of looking for a better job to help take some of the pressure off.
We definitely have a new release planned. In fact, I plan on trying to continue indefinitely and see if we can eventually get a headshot for about 99% of the cast & crew in the database.
We are doing pretty good right now with getting submissions from all over the database. In other words, we're not just getting everyone submitting the same headshots. As we get further along, we may try to split up the alphabet between everyone to help fill in the gaps.
There are currently 23 submissions in queue that I am working on downloading and am compiling the new images as I get time.
I am also working with Ken (through a request) to get an option in place to make the cleaning up of new Headshot Master Databases easier and enable us to put out new updates with minimal effort at cleanup. He doesn't think it should be too hard to implement. However, I am sure we will need to wait for an update to DVDP to get this.
Thanks for being patient, and please keep those contributions coming! | | | Juoquim

About the headshots, I seriously doubt you'll ever obtain more than 50-60% of all cast and crew database. The reason is there are too many second roles with no picture available on the internet for them. It will eventually take snapshots directly from the movies on almost all the movies available on the database (which is not going to happen).
But 50% is good enough. |

| Posted: | | | | Well done to everyone involved in the headshot master database. Superb work. I was just wondering whether there is an official standard for headshot size? Having previously used HeadsImport, it suggested 100x133 was the size preferred by DVD Profiler itself, so I've been sticking to that when adding my own, but some of those in the headshot master database are larger. 100x133 does compromise the detail a little so if there is no set standard, what size do people tend to use?
